This item is cast in solid 14Kt yellow gold (not plated) and features an open heart shaped bail with a rounded and domed teardrop shaped pinch -through mounting. This style of pinch bail features a peg on one side and a matching hole in the other side. The peg goes through your stone and through the hole in the other side, then gets folded down and trimmed to your desired length to secure the bail closed.

Bail will accept chain/cording thicknesses up to 2.5mm.

The bail dimensions are 12.1mm tall and 5mm wide, and weighs 0.52 gram.

Distance of the hole from the edge of your item should be no more than 3mm, and even less if your item is thicker than 4mm.
