Fine Silver Wire Round 14 Gauge
"Fine Silver" (also sold as .999) wire is ostensibly pure silver with no alloying metals added, slowing oxidation (tarnishing) considerably versus Sterling Silver (.925). Sterling silver has 92.5% silver content and 7.5% copper content. It's the copper content in sterling silver that allows oxidation to happen more quickly than in Fine Silver (which also makes Fine Silver a great choice for fusing as no flux is needed).
It is a fundamental supply most commonly used by jewelers, jewelry designers and artists for their jewelry designs.
This is a bulk wire that is sold by the foot so you can easily cut it to your needs.
Round Wire
The round wire is the most common wire shape that is used for just about every wire wrapping or forming design, making jewelry findings, or spirals.
