The creativity this time was off the charts!There was, as always, some discussion about stone setting techniques in general.Almost immediately, the students went off onto a few unexpected tangents. Using parts in unusual (and unintended) ways student turned their loose drilled pearls and some chain into some stunning statement pieces. Modifying and customizing some pieces by soldering earring post basket settings onto a ring to convert it from being designed for a cabochon into one perfect for a great cut stone.Another great customization was using the same basket setting soldered onto one of our tube beads to create a gorgeous centerpiece.One of the most fun aspects of Jewelry Corner is seeing all the ways people use our products, especially when they're being used in such unexpected, creative ways!Stay tuned for more dates coming soon!Share your thoughts and ideas directly in the comments.
