We've started packing for the show this weekend - the 2019 Maple Ridge Lapidary Club Rock & Gem Show.Opens Saturday, February 24th, 11am until 5pm. Sunday hours are 10am until 4pm. The Parksville Gem & Mineral Show weekend was good considering the bad weather that hit the island.Overall, visitors, customers, and other vendors benefited from receiving our dedicated attention. We helped many customers select their beading findings, stone setting findings, and wire wrapping materials.The special activities organized at the trade show appeared effective and were quite entertaining at times.During the show we had a special visit and inquiry from the recently established Metal Arts Guild of Vancouver Island. They are located in Parksville. The guilds are a great way for artists to market their products.
